Hello everyone! I’m Mary, a thirtysomething married Catholic woman with no children. I chose St. Henry II for the name of this blog after I used the Saint’s Name Generator and found that he’s the patron saint of childless people. You can read more about Henry here and his wife, St. Cunegonda, here.
I do not blog about my struggles with infertility or struggles to become a mother. Those struggles are over and I am defeated. I don’t enjoy writing about that part of my life and you probably wouldn’t enjoy reading it.
What do I blog about? Catholicism, prayer, books, and spirituality, with occasional rants and (hopefully) some pictures of my garden. I am named after Jesus’ mother but have none of her virtues.
Want to e-mail me? Sure you do. henry and cunegonda [at] gmail dot com (remove spaces).

I love your Blog. I was raised Catholoc and I also am raised to a man who is or claims to be an Atheist. We also do not have children by choice but it is is a very good choice in the long run with all my medical issues. I am a new follower of yours.
Married to a man not raised to him. whoops.
I knew what you meant.
Glad to have you along!
I am quite certain that you have many of her virtues.
I was blessed with 12 children, but grew up in a house with a mom who had fertility issues, so I hear you. God bless you!
